In addition, new business sectors are currently developing.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 18px;\">Now let&#8217;s look at what these professions are called in German.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 18px;\">Germans treat male and female professionals differently; for example, a male doctor is addressed as <strong><em>&#8216;Arzt&#8217;<\/em><\/strong>, whereas a female doctor is addressed as<a href=\"https:\/\/www.howtopronounce.com\/german\/%C3%A4rztin\"><strong><em> &#8216;\u00c4rztin&#8217;<\/em><\/strong><\/a>.<strong><em>&#8216;Krankenschwester&#8217;<\/em><\/strong> refers to a nurse. Engineers are referred to as either <strong><em>&#8216;Ingenieur&#8217;<\/em><\/strong> for men and <strong><em>&#8216;Ingenieurin&#8217;<\/em><\/strong> for women. Teacher is <em><strong>&#8216;Lehrer\/Lehrerin&#8217;<\/strong><\/em>, much as dentist is <em><strong>&#8216;Zahnarzt\/<a href=\"https:\/\/www.howtopronounce.com\/german\/zahn%C3%A4rztin\">Zahn\u00e4rztin<\/a>&#8216;.<\/strong> <strong>&#8216;Manager\/Managerin&#8217;<\/strong><\/em> is another name for manager in German. Language Professional denotes <em><strong>&#8216;Sprachprofi&#8217;<\/strong><\/em> whereas Marketing Professional denotes <em><strong>&#8216;Marketingprofi&#8217;.<\/strong> <strong>&#8216;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.howtopronounce.com\/german\/polizei\">Polizei<\/a>\/Polizistin&#8217;<\/strong><\/em> is the term for police.
