Lets explore how to say ordinals ( first, second, third..and the list goes on) in German in this post. 1st, 2nd, 3rd are referred as Ordinals which are numerical terms. Like 1st, 2nd and 3rd are pronounced in English, there are various ordinal pronunciations in German. Positions and dates are both described by ordinals.

In German, July 15th is pronouncedย as Fรผnfzehnten Juli, while April 27th is known as Sieben und Zwanzigsten April. August 11th is pronounced as Elften August, and May 4th is spoken as Vierten Mai.
