In this post, let’s learn how to say the names of colors in German in this post. There are different names of colors in German.  ‘Farben’ is the German word for colour. Everyone loves colour, right? Without colour, everything would have been drab. As a result, a person’s mental condition might be linked to certain colours. The various appealing colour scheme gives the mind a nice feeling. Additionally, hues have the power to “change moods”!

German names for various colours include green, crimson, pink, orange, yellow, blue, purple, black, and white.
Pink colour is referred to ‘Rosa’, and red is referred to ‘Rot’. ‘Orange’ (both in English and German) denotes orange, ‘Gelb‘ denotes yellow, ‘Blau’ denotes blue, and ‘Lila’ denotes purple. ‘Schwarz’ and ‘Weiß’ both refer to black and white respectively. Grey is referred to ‘Grau’, green as ‘Grün’, and brown as ‘Braun’.

Dark means ‘Dunkel’, just as dark blue means ‘Dunkelblau’, while bright means ‘Hell’, as in bright/light blue ‘Hellblau’.‘Bunt’ is the word for colourful. My favourite colours are ‘Rosa’ that’s pink, and ‘Königsblau’ that is Royal blue.  Which is your favourite colour? Will you tell me in German?
